Glitter Doughnut was a sculpture collaboration with artist, Christopher Duffy. We made this giant 30 ft inflatable donut for a large-scale installation show at Frontroom Gallery Cleveland.
The skin of the donut was made entirely out of clear plastic tarps and packing tape. The inside of the donut was filled with at least 30 lbs of confetti and glitter, and a ring of box fans that helped keep the confetti and glitter afloat. The results were pure joy and wintiness. Everyone who was inside the donut was covered with glitter and happiness, and it lingered on the surface of their bodies for days.
